Hello all,
My renewal for Prudential health insurance is due and has gone up by £4/month. Phone and asked them to reduce it - they didnt budge, even though if I joined now on their site it would be cheaper than the renewal!
So Ive been looking around and found Tesco and http://www.health-on-line.co.uk/ to be around the same price as my renewal. Tesco offer the first month free which is great! Both are underwritten by PPP but seem to have different names/benefits?
Anyway - to the point. I have no claims on my current plan but dont want to change and lose 1 years worth of "doctors records" (I did visit a couple of times in the year but not for anything big).
Can I effectively transfer my insurance? Also, anyone know of any better deals at the moment? My renewal cost is £32/month is for a 30 y/o non smoker.
Thanks.

There are generally three main levels of cover (budget, standard and comprehensive) and many plans have add ons to these.
So, when comparing providers you need to make sure you are comparing like for like and that they cover the same things. Price alone is not the way to do it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
