Cheap 2 day midweek break recommendations

Hi,

im after taking my OH away for his birthday - mon-wed and wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere? We dont mind where as long as there are things to do either countryside or citys.

Also need it pretty cheap :) as we are trying to save for a wedding and this is our only break without kids until then.

Any recommendations for a decent B&B - even travel lodges if necessary although he would prefer a b&b or hotel.

Please help
Thanks

try groupon or living social. can sometimes pick up some really good hotel deals for 1/2 night that quite often include meals too. the only thing i would say is ring the venue and make sure they have the dates you want available before buying the voucher x

or travelzoo.co.uk x they very often have some really good deals posted x
  • I don't know how far you are prepared to travel but a family member recently stayed at a place in Kent near Canterbury which is nice to look around and also close to Whitstable, Broadstairs etc. Anyway the B&B was described as awesome. The owner is an interior designer so it looks fantastic and the food is brilliant. They do a cheap deal during the week.

It's called Pond Cottage and the website is littlefunkyplacestostay.co.uk is or something like that.
