I'd be very careful of this - and sadly it happens all too often - wife keeps marital home and lifestyle, husband ends up with crippling maintenance payments and gets to live in a bedsit.
The wife wont get a mortgage as she is unemployed, therefore the O/P will end up with his name still on the mortgage, which will get very messy when the O/P gets his life back and wants to move on and buy his own house again.0 -
