The mobile phone bill you say is your contract, so not sure why it's on your boyfriends SoA.
If it is your boyfriends contract, then if he's going bankrupt the mobile phone company would soon terminate it.
How did you manage to get a mobile phone contract for £480 per year when you don't appear to have any earnings?
Or if this is just his SoA, howcome you appear to be putting the council tax, the landline phone and the tv licence (and perhaps other things) all down to him?
Hi, he doen't have a bank account so I took out a phone on contract for him which will run until December. I also have another contract phone for myself. I work full time, but haven't put down my earnings as it is his SOA and if I put down my salary, there would be a much larger surplus left over which would not give an accurate account of my boyfriends income/outgoings . That is my disposable income and I don't want the OR to think it is his and ask for it as repayment.
In my previous post I said that all of the bills are in my name, and my boyfriend pays me a set amount each week- on the SOA is how it is spent. As I pay for certain things, for example the mortgage, insurance, sky tv etc I use the money from him to pay other bills in their entirety, I think this is a fair split, but am after advice as to if the OR will see it in the same way.
This is how we manage the bills but having not been through this before, I am trying to gather information as to how to fill out his SOA.0 -

Ok, I was also allowed money for childrens activities for when I have my children on weekends, you may want to put something down for this. Also have youput extra for groceries for when the kids stay over?0

OK as you are living together as a couple then you need to put on the SoA the joint household expenses and his personal expenses. Then his full income and your contribution to the joint household expenses, not your full income.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

When I calculate all of the household bills they come to £1387 per month. My boyfriend pays £440 per month and I pay £947. If we split it 50/50 he will be paying more money on bills than he actually is???0

Household bills doesn't include mortgage, it is elec/gas/phone/water/counciltax does that all add up to £1387?"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0

That'll be what you put down as their share then. What bills do you have that add up to over £800 though? That seems a really high figure. Mine here add up to £240 and it's a 3 bed house."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0

...If it is your boyfriends contract, then if he's going bankrupt the mobile phone company would soon terminate it....Why? I kept my contract during BR and even got and Iphone 4 on upgrade just 3 months after going BR.
Because whilst bankrupt, getting any form of credit is nigh on impossible, and would need the approval of the OR.
