I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
It would help a lot of people but the only ppl who are gonna come out trumps tomorrow are those on benefits. Ppl like me will be who are already bled dry by labour will be worse off tomorrow.
I agree 100%.. The way this country is ran I am surprised anybody can be bothered to work. Why should people who actually work have to pay for everything, while the ones who cant be bothered (ok, some of them can, but) get everything paid for? (house, nursery, council tax, you name it).
I know several people who cant afford to get a job - they would be WORSE off than what they are without a job.0 -
Slim chance then.....actually no chance of a increase in threshold then!!!Debt at highest (November 2005) = £35,856

Shouldn't people be less worried about inheritance tax level and stamp duty and be more concerned about fixing the root cause which is a over inflated housing market which the BoE has admitted being half their fault for ramping to prevent a recession. An announcement of more houses built per year and a warning that houses are over priced and due to collapse would be much better in my eyes. If stamp duty rises isn't house prices going to rise too to fill the gap where they've currently been faultering under the 3% threshold.Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....0

And I totally agree, I would like them to remove the 40% margin on interest so that my savings (towards a house) isn't actually depreciating in real terms rather than building (along with a lack of paperwork needed) but theres no chance of that.Money, Money, Money .....
