You really do have an answer for everything!
how about just making a decorative name tag with pretty ribbon? You could wrap the ribbon around the pin so it looks a bit more than just a wooden pin with a tag! 2025 Mortgage start £378K 2025 Overpayment £103 Savings Challenge 2025 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0 -

I think that's what we've been doing all along on this thread - ideas are being put forward and people are putting forward their opinions and pointing out the faults in some ideas?Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

You obviously did not read through the whole thing.
And is is not just the handles look at the picture again.0 -

Selling them with cutters or anything else that would be used for food preparation, or in any way implying they are suitable for use with food could get the OP into a heap of trouble.
I agree. Rolling pins aren't painted and are made from materials that won't flake or delaminate for a reason. Not only that, you require certification for anything that could be construed as a toy http://www.ce-marking.com/toys.html0 -
It could be used as a decoration?

For a child?
With that suggestion we seem to have gone full circle!!Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

I'm very disappointed in some of the posters on here. Instead of encouraging a young person to continue with a business idea it has pretty much been shattered from the start. If or when you have children I really hope you don't dash their hopes and dreams so quickly if they come to you with such an idea.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

We had a rolling pin with painted handles when I was a child (too many years ago to admit). The handles stayed still whilst the roller part rotated if you can imagine what I'm talking about. We always used to end up picking out bits of blue paint from the pastry as it flaked off. It was probably lead based paint then also! It was a complete pain in the wotsit.Make £2025 in 2025
