    Indeed, IC did just seem an honest company - called out without problem, and didn't inflate my renewal as I said.

    Not had cause to use startrescue yet (fingers crossed!).

    I'm with Autoaid & broke down 200 miles from home on a freezing day, with the family & a washing machine in the car! I was stuck next to a McDonalds, though. Anyway, had quite a long wait, but Autoaid arranged for recovery all the way home. Had to pay about £440, but claimed the full amount back, no probs.
    It's also worth looking on Quidco (or other cashback sites) - I recently got RAC (roadside repair only) for £29, with £20 cashback.
