I haven't a clue what it is called but I have a metal device on top (set into) the patio doors that do exactly what you want. I have searched for a photo but can't find anything.
Seriously either lift or move the light fitting slightly would be my vote.0 -
How about a bi-fold door?0

Is google broken for you? Search for 'door opening restrictor'."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Turn the door to open outwards? But the best thing would be to have a flush light fitting.0

If a 2 metre high door is being affected by a light fitting, I would suggest that the light fitting is far too low.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
