postoffoce savings has made me overdrawn

I requested Post Office Savings to make a direct debit from my nominated account which is my normal using current account. They have done it twice and as a result I am £2500 overdrawn. This means I have no access to money and I am going to get bills for being overdrawn. What redress do I have?

    I have been too quick off the mark this morning. Evidently this was a "shadow payment" (a term that I have never heard of) that has been cancelled behind the scenes and as it was not my doing I shall not been penalised (other than a moment of panic).

    I reckon they design these things just to scare the pants off us punters:D But tx for coming back and I pass you a virtual :beer: to help you get over the shock :cool:
