until I'm 60!!
That seems to be the magic number in this country.
At 60 you get the £200 heating money.
At 60 you get £25 back on your tv license.
At 60, if not already disabled, you get a free bus pass.
So I have *gulp* 3.5 years to go to get the first 2.
Am I sad or what?

Don't forget your NI contributions stop at 60 (perhaps this is for women who are born before 1952 or something), and that's a nice extra bit of money every month if you're still working!0 -

As an elderly gentleman once gloomily told me "The pension book doesnt come alone" Meaning I think that at 65 he started to get aches pains and previously unknown ailments. So I for one am not looking forward to being 60!! Although he did add, as an after thought, "Better than the alternative tho!"Away with the fairies.... Back soon0
