WCSI know the RV doesn't like odd/spicy stuff but they taste of nothing much to my thinking!! We have them with meat/tatties for youngest and if there's nothing on them he covers them with gravy alongside his dinner!!!!

I can't grow anything, I turn every plant into a stick, Is there any room in the preppers shed for a stick grower?
well if they are nice sturdy sticks i think they could have all manner of uses
for example: team up with preppers with a green thumb and you can provide them canes for growing peas up and other climbers
use for beating off the hoardes trying to get to your stores
bashing zombie hoards, or sharpen the ends for piercing zombie brains
you could make a game of pick up sticks for keeping bored housebound kids happy if you're bugging in (or even just for a temporary power outage)
if you take up whittling you could make your own toothpicks, good dental care will be of special urgency in a shtf scenario you know
long strong sticks can replace lost tent poles, or short strong sticks can be driven into the ground for guy wires
sticks are great for walking in hilly or slippery terrain
also excellent for testing how deep a river is
you get the idea... see, we all have our talents!:kisses3:

The MSM is predicting a return to cold at the end of this week.
Other sites are predicting major cold in later January

An Actic blast is being forecast for US at least.
Lots of interesting stuff there in your post, thanks, especially the one above even though most of it is above my head.
Funny how we watched The Day After Tomorrow on Sky last night then saw all of this stuff about the cold on this link today.
Best I get some more extra stocks in just in case the SHTF with the weather.
I may get get my harris down to Wickes and buy the bricks for a Rocket Stove too, just in case we start to have power cuts. At least we will then have some way of cooking/boiling water as we only have gas central heating.0 -

My previous manager bought the cheese book & wanted everyone to read it as we have one team member who is very resistant to change, waste of time as she refused to read the book, lol.

He cant eat pasta it sends his BG through the roof. I did use the stuff I grew in soups but there's a limit to how much you can add
I can snip it into tiny bits and throw it into mince etc yes. WCS what kind of sauces on stir fry?
You could do a 'potato' lasagne. Make the same as normal lasagne but replace the pasta with a layer of lightly cooked potato (thinly sliced and peeled), its lovely and very filling.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
