Why has the thread name changed?
Name change. What do you mean? I can't see the thread name has changed.
Anyone else see the thread name has changed?
:whistle:That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Its been shortened from Preparedness for when the SHTF to Preparedness for when apparently overnight and despite asking why there hasn't been an answer from anyone. I guess that despite it having the original title for many months some sensitive soul has complained and the title has been amended.0

Well the sensitive soul can complain to the S when it hits the F and see how far that gets her eh....0
-
True Oh Scottish one, not being blessed with that much sensitivity myself I frankly think it's silly to change the title but I'm not in charge and those who are aren't talking to us!!! Ne'mind petal we'll carry on as normal (well loosely normal) and still be ready won't we?0

Talking of name change . When I was a lurker on the forum for years I was reading the green format and I opted to retain that option when the change to blue and white happened . I realised a few months ago that if I was just popping in for a quick catch up I was reading on the new . I admit I now prefer it which I never expected . Some usernames are actually shortened on their posts . Lyn is mrslurcher , we have lovelifeag and Hesters is interesting
I think this happened at the same time as the title .
The problem with reading on the new is I still get directed to the green when I want to post so my brain hurts !

I hate the new blue forum design with a passion and have stuck with the green older style one.
I do think the person who took the SHTF (a case of also taking the p) might just as well have shortened it to just Preparedness, which makes a bit of sense, unlike the ungrammatical fragment of a thread title we're left with now.
Reminds me of reading the MrMoneyMustache blog which has had the subtitle Financial Freedom Through Badassity for years. He was once offered a fair chunk of money for his blog under the condition that this heinous phrase had to go. He declined, is still badass, and apparently earned $400,000 USD off the blog in a year.............. now that's badass.:rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Just been comparing this thread on both formats . Got carried away there . I had completely forgotten the members list and allocated tasks . I wonder what became of many of those posters . I well remember PAH she used to be such a prolific poster .
The password ( all three ) still makes me laugh and some of the allocated tasks are honestly questionable in the cold light of time passed !

GQ Agree the title would be better amended . I really hated the new format when they did the accidental rollout and continued to do so until recently , I have unknowingly somehow slowly adjusted to it and I don't know how !!! :rotfl:
