I need you all on your knees, praying that plumber leaves soon. I want to go for a pee....but toilet is next boiler, so need to wait until he has gone as only have one toilet......
.
When one has 'men in' one knows to have a spare dog dish and bog roll in a secret corner away from their area of work. :rotfl:
That's the very first rule of 'Having the Builders in'.
The second is to have a supply of refreshments.
The third is to have a brush and refuse bags handy (cos they always seem to end up asking for them )0 -
TS has very likely HTF for my neighbour who has just handed over a hefty wad for her pedigree pooch to be mated with another pooch of equally noble origin. The very next day her dog escaped briefly from the garden and was found frolicking on the village green with the local free ranging Jack the lad.
We wait to see what emerges......:eek:0 -

We wait to see what emerges......:eek:She should worry, my late Grandma's Corgi was given a seeing-to by a passing Great Dane (I so want/ don't want to envisage the mechanics of that). The breed's size differential meant the vet had to abort the puppies, sadly, as they would've killed the Corgi to bring to term.
On a lighter side, I always reckoned Nan's former rescue cat was the outcome of somebody's pedigree white Persian having it away with the local ginger tom, only possible explanation for the offspring's appearance.:rotfl:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Tssk... When you are as old as me you learn a few tricks.

Oh, you're lucky your builders ask for a brush. Mine just leave their skiddies all over the pan.
Edit: That reminds me of when my mother had the house exterior painted. She handed the man a bucket 'in case he needs the toilet'. I told her she was lucky he didn't hand it back full of wee-wee.0
