I would have thought they would have automatically tried to contact the other people on that flight to have a screening, not for them to contact a 0800 number if they are concerned...
There is potentially a vast amount of people that could have had some sort of contact.. in heathrow airport, on the plane, in Glasgow airport, taxis, etc... I know its bodily fluid, but these is still a possibility of it being passed on..
it always starts with one....Work to live= not live to work0 -

Proper English longbows were made from one piece of Yew - a combination of the heartwood and the sapwood. My son made one on a local course a few years ago.0 -
I've thought about that, when's the last time you've seen a yew tree? I don't think I've seen one in years. Maybe it would be a preppertastic thing to do, to plant more yew trees.....
Press getting excited about the Greek election, could just be the thing that breaks the Euro; I'm going to get some cash out tomorrow, nothing likely to happen though I guess until the election which is in about four weeks. Plenty of time to be prepped up for bank crises and I'm aiming to have as little in the bank then as possible. The election is just before pay day anyway so wouldn't be much in any case :rotfl:0 -

And if you're doing them properly, selecting and drying the timber becomes the crucial part of the process. Three years running I didn't manage to produce a decent stave for bow making out of several dozen years one and four produced 8 staves and yielded 6 bows each. Whereas the laminated staves all made it to the tiller (failure rate was about a third).
You could always try making a Japanese bow - its made from bamboo and is boiled/steamed to get its shape on the tiller - relatively easy and quick to make - shooting them is a very different matter though.0 -

I don't want to alarm people, however if an Ebola outbreak does start in the UK it can be passed by both direct and indirect means (despite what the media may claim). Best to be prepared just in case...
