Thanks, Pollys, shows how much attention I pay to retail, hey? We haven't one of those in my city, more's the pity. Hopefully the info will assist somebody else.

Thoughts?
Kind of like the ants nest at the bottom of my garden - I can see it has its uses and as long as if doesn't muck up my life I am happy to have it there. But basically registers very little.
After all she will still be Queen of Scots so I don't really see what the problem is.
But after the week have had in our media (which they actually referred to as "Shock and Awe") - TBH its all just white noise and I'm ignoring it all now.
BTW - I think you may all be right about the water - I was horrified to help an English friend do her budget and find how much she was charged for water - her water bill is higher than our council tax bill is.

Too right! I'm a complete tart when it comes to shopping; anywhere, any time, if the price is right.
I'm sure I saw sardines and other small tinned fish in 99p store at 2-for-99p which was less good than 40p/tin but better than 69p/tin. Have placed an instruction with my maternal shop-bot to hie into her Liddly (she lives close) first thing tomorrow and buy big if they're still 40p there.
This purse was made for walkin' and that's what it will do. One of these days this purse is gonna walk away from you.........:DEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Memorygirl I think it's shocking that people down south have to pay for water at all. I don't know how that one sneaked into the rule book!0

I know it rains a lot (lived there for 5 years) but no one charges Joe Public to deliver water to their homes and remove sewage?!
