You still need a little sun to build vitamin D otherwise you are at risk of rickets. So with a little help from an online solar calculator I take a short break outside to get some sun without sun block but I do limit my exposure. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

I just want to know what this strange thing you call sun is....0

It's a mythical beast MAR known to cause hallucinations in the english fairly often at this time of year, reports of a yellow ball hanging in the sky are to be ignored as they are just a symptom, it's known to cause overheating too, I blame global warming for the spread of this particular type of happening, Oh look there's a unicorn on the lawn!!! Do you have those in Scotlandshire too???0

Ah. The English. Hmmm. Gottit! :rotfl::rotfl:0

He Who Knows has been to MILLETS this morning and purchased a 25 litre waterproof bag for £12.00. When I say bag what I mean is a stay dry sealable sack that is big enough to take all clothing and other things that might be needed to keep dry in a BOB. They had many sizes of this type of bag, all on offer at the moment. I'm going to get myself one next time I'm in town. They're usually quite expensive so I think this is a good opportunity.0

It's easy to get complacent here in pineapple land where the most exciting thing that happened recently was someone finding a sheep in their garden.
But last night I went to a 24hr supermarket in the nearest town. I never thought of it as a bad town so was shocked when a friend said she wouldn't even consider driving through it at night. So how brave was I!
But dear me - maybe she was right. This supermarket, perfectly nice in daylight hours, had become chav central. It was like a scene from Hot Fuzz - a motley, grubby collection of shady looking customers with a smattering of zombies thrown in. The woman in front of me at the checkout was taking an age and gossiping with the operator. But trust me - you wouldn't want to pick an argument with her. Outside in the dark, the car park felt precarious and I couldn't wait to get in the car and head out of Dodge.
I'm thinking the next house has to be really really really rural.0 -

What do TPTB know that we don't?Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

What do TPTB know that we don't?
And he has the backing of the Prime Minister

though they still need the authorisation of the Home Secretary before use.
TPTB have been after water cannon to use in Britain for a while - this backdoor method will open up the possibility of their use across the mainland.0
