Hello all!

Having very recently joined these forums, I was browsing yesterday & came across this thread, which has me enthralled! I dare say it will be a long time till I manage to catch up with all of the previous pages but I have been enjoying it so much that I just had to pop in & introduce myself. I'm "AutumnWinterSmiles" but you can call me by my nickname, "B". The username comes from my preference for the Autumn & Winter seasons & I couldn't think of anything better at the time!

I hope you lovely lot will welcome me as I'm sure I will be posting a lot more. I have always been a prepper at heart, but have never really embraced it. Now I have found you lot, & I know I'm not alone, or "being paranoid", I feel like this is the time for me to get serious. I haven't decided the lengths I will prep to yet, or for what eventualities, but am going to have a serious think about this, &, of course, how to be MSE at the same time!

I started today by getting myself down to Costco, having seen it mentioned on here, and making myself a member! More to follow, I'm sure.

Anyway, better stop rambling, so that's all for now.

Hello AUTUMNWINTERSMILES good to have you with us, as you can see we're all a little alternative, well OK I'm worse than most of the others but they all have thier moments!!! hello Autumnwinter welcome ,I too found this site a while back now and have never "met" so many intelligent honest peeps in one place! you have met LYNNN aka mrs lurcher woman..............shes having a meltdown today but she will be back to "normal" soon, greyqueen , shes the oracle seems to have a knowledge of ab everything in the world, think she actually ask jeeves! bedsit bob he the man to go to for Rambo training and accessories, mar well she likes jelly babies, and so many more lovely folk , im sure in a month you yourself will be shunned by your family as a domesday prepper freak , I WAS! but its great on here I love ie

That only happens when I'm tired his likkle brainwaves just filter in and it makes walking past trees very,very difficult particularly if I'm out with him and he starts telling me off in Lurcha!!! and this insane urge I feel to chase squirrels.................
