My husband and son were zombies.....
They were extras in the film Cockneys Vs Zombies that's coming out at the end of the month. The trailer's funny, it has Richard Briers doddering along with a zimmer frame trying to escape a zombie. You can see the trailer here. (WARNING! Contains lots of swearing and gore.)
(Just thought I'd inject a little humour.)
I will have a look I'm a huge zombie fan, so sad...
eta Just watched it, I have to see that film, thanks for posting. Were you able to see your husband and son in the film? I am so jealous!0 -
Just had my handbooks out Byatt. There's nothing in either of them. All that the website says is that they communicate via text message should there be a problem.
It really is useful to think about and I will be embarrassing myself to go ask for the emergency evac policy come September.0 -

Hi all
Really enjoying reading everyones ideas and thoughts.
I have ordered some purification tablets (thanks Mar) so one thing ticked off the list.
Ive gone through our medicine box and found some things need replaced so added to next shopping list (saline, pain killers, wipes).
One thing i don't have are copies of forms/certificates/id stuff so must take a stash to work and play with the photocopier;).
we have a lot of camping/outdoor stuff and live rurally and are lucky to have a nearby water supply (ie small burn), but this thread has made me realise i hadn't discussed any possible scenarios with OH yet so have been reading out bits of thread (much to his delight while he tried to read:rotfl:) DS is looking at me as if im bonkers, maybe I should have discussed the zombie scenario as i'm sure he would have had a detailed discussion then.
Right off to write a list for a Bug bag.
xMoving towards a life that is more relaxed and kinder to the environment (embracing my inner hippy:D) .:j0 -

Haven't seen the film yet, only the trailer so we don't know if we'll be able to spot them. Hubby played a zombie vicar and son was a football fan. We don't go to the cinema often, but we're definitle going to see this. It looks hilarious. :rotfl:0 -

Don't be embarrassed, it's a very valid question! If they don't want parents turning up demented then you need to know. Knowing their child is safe will make a huge difference to many parents. I know the likelihood of anything happening is small, but some prep is necessary, well it would be for me because I am a loose cannon I'm afraid where my DD is concerned.

I know this is OT so will stop after this post, but Richard Briers trying to get away is hilarious, and the guy who is doing rhyming Cockney slang :rotfl:
love it. Could ask loads more questions but will shut up now.0 -
