Bob they're usually just under £20 (andrex)

    So that's about £4 for 9?

I get Blossom from ALDI, at less than £2 for a pack of 9.

Yeah we tried some others Bob and I have to say I was really impressed with the Nicky from Farmfoods but my lot blocked up the toilet daily when we used that..I just economise in other areas instead.

JK my mums recovered from her pneumonia but her lungs are still a little weak and she's been ok today thankfully, just said she noticed she was a little more breathless when traipsing uphill but nothing major.

Boultdj meant to say yesterday thanks I didn't know 5 was the official number for an orchard. Most of mine are in pots and they seem quite happy, much easier as my garden has to stay quite mobile as things grow to make space!

Wyre, glad you managed to get some trees they're a sound investment I think with food prices rising. I started with just tomatoes in pots and it just sort of grew from there.Herbs and salads are nice and easy and save a good bit of money. You can't go wrong with a few spuds either,it's like unearthing buried treasure when they're ready.

My garden might sound huge but its actually very small,I just shoehorn, overplant, underplant, use my walls, fences etc..there's some pics in here somewhere if you can find them!

The apple cinnamon flour is officially lovely sat here noshing a bun made with the dough from earlier. It'll be easy enough to make my own as its just dehydrated apples powdered and cinnamon, which I have a huge stash of.

    Thank you for that.
It sounds heavenly, I can see some experimentation coming up - danish pastries with apple and cinnamon flour is the first temptation :)
  • JKO the pollution levels down here in Hampshire are quite high, He Who Knows went to the GP this morning as his asthma has reared its ugly little head again for the first time in 5 years. He went fishing yesterday and spent all day outside and was wheezing badly and felt tight chested and breathless when he got home. Now has 2 inhalers and is feeling much better for a day indoors while I did both hound walks. Mind, by the time I got back I was coughing like a goodun and my co walker couldn't stop sneezing. Oh for some rain!!!

This sounds funny, but is quite serious. Keep the wall switch off if you have a kitty, and a touch control hob:
