I've watched the first two series, there are some seriously strange people out there but who am I to talk...
I watch it on u tube as we don't do "live TV" in our house. Don't say "subscribe" incase Mr PiC overhears and has a coronary :rotfl:

Don't worry, they don't have a shelf life (allegedly they do have a shelf life while sitting on the shop shelf). I've bought quite a few packets that have ceased to exist before they make it home (Herself and nephews), therefore they can't have a shelflife as they never make it to a shelf
I've just cleaned the remains of a tin of grapefruit from a kitchen cupboard, stored with no dents or visible damage, it exploded with almost two years of shelf life remaining. I obviously hadn't checked that stock often enough.
Made me chuckle. The last bag I had tasted a little soapy but I still ate them:rotfl: Trying to think if a packet has ever made it home never mind to the shelf.
I am quite partial to the little rum truffles in M's at the moment and they have made it to the sofa

Oh, I get it. On a money saving website, it would be a bit rude to call someone a !!!!!!!!!!. Whoops, I mean free loader.0 -

I looked at that, but doesn't it only charge devices (phones, MP3 players etc.), rather than penlight batteries?0 -
Hello all
Just catching up!
Had a firtle in a CS today in my lunch 10 mins! Ended up with two dresses, several brand new decorations, new glass tealight holders, new bath salts/caviar (?) three DVD's and three books for my son whos into ghost stories and came out with change for £20.
If I had to buy food for two years it would not include meat as mine is walking round the farm keeping itself fresh! I could trade wheat, oats, barley, maize etc with neighbours. I grow a lot of veg /fruit etc and forage loads more. I would swap the microwave for a freezer as mine only ever defrosts things. Salt, sugar, honey, spices etc would be important to me to stop everything tasting the same. I seem to be well supplied with home made booze and if pushed could set up a still using grain.
There is a bee hive on the farm that we rescued from an allotment where they were going to kills the bees although I dont know what to do with it! It has bees in it so I will have to find a course to go on, at the moment they look after themselves. I will have to think about what else I would buy.
I missed the farm programme although my house dates from before 1560 Im probably already living part of the life!! Bloody cold sometimes in winter unless the woodburners flat out!
I will drop back in tomorrow to see what you are all up to. I'm hunting tomorrow ( as PC as ever! LOL) so as long as I dont fall off I will see what other interesting topics are being discussed.
