I followed the instructions to the last word instead of apples in syrup for apple crumbles I have made rocket fuel......anwers please..thanks

Offer to sell it to NASA. :D
  • CRAIGY were the seals holding after you'd put them through the water bath treatment? You should have been able to loosen the clip/metal band and the glass lid should have sealed itself and the ring to the jar with a vacuum. If the rubber seals don't seal, it lets air in and the contents can ferment and rot, such a pity as it's lots of work to get them prepared and processed isn't it? Rotten luck pet, Lyn xxx.

I would like to know if the £8 off the CT goes on sweeties :p

I don't think you'd get that information even under extreme torture, not even if you sent her to London and force fed her Kale.

:A I would have to have my mush stitched up, mind that may be a good thing as it would stop me putting my foot in it so often :rotfl:

    Hey Mar, well done!

Well that's the start of it... Sunday baths for myself and wash downs the rest of the week. I figured I wasting too much water/gas/elect (lighting laying in there!) with my daily bathing/showering habits. So no more luxury - basic hygiene from now on. DH isn't joining me but promises to have more puddle like baths so... :)

Off now to find a product that washes hair and skin. I'd like 1 product that is low in nasty chemicals. I use so much in the way of household items/homemade beauty products but really want to lower it further.

Also thinking of investing in a menstrual mooncup. I should get my money back after 5 months and no waste/need to source sanitary products.

It definitely feels like the time to step my efforts up. I still consume more than I'd like.

fuddle, we use the mr t value babybath for EVERYTHING, not sure of the price now as I still using the 7p bottles I bought about 30 of them last year or year before. I use it for bubblebath, shampoo, put it on one of those 2 sided sponges rough/smooth and use it as soap and also fill hand soap dispenser up with it nice and gentle and I am sure it still quite cheap hth. moon cups, I hated them couldn get the knack....nuff said lol
