Er, you know those colanders...
They are a bludy curse and effecting my posture. I wonder what my BMI would be had it not been for them adding to the weight.
Brastop is a good place for larger sizes. I can get the hammocks for about £12 - which isn't primark or asda prices but better than £25-£30 elsewhere

If we're going to be a little risque, I'll throw into the prepping debate the fact that if you are stuck indoors with no electricity in the middle of winter when the daylight hours are not as long as the darkness and it is cold in all honesty you will retire to your couch at an earlier hour than normal and in all likelihood one thing will lead to another and comfort will be had!!! What I'm thinking is if you're female and still fertile, the likelihood of a supply of contraceptive oral pills is unlikely to be continually available for everyone, and as with all things, a dimishing supply means difficulties in obtaining them and staying safe. So, perhaps it would be a very good idea to include condoms in your preps, not for smutty jokes but for the very necessary purpose of preventing unwanted pregnancies in a time when pregnancy and childbirth will not be as safe as it is now. Add to that that there will be less medical services and vaccines for children born after TSHTF and an uncertain supply of food, water, everything really, and prevention makes sense on many levels. I'm hoping that by saying this I'm not offending any religious beliefs and principles, the thought is from a purely practical perspective, Lyn x.0

Well said. And condoms can be used to make catapults, water carriers, containers for fire lighting stuff, etc etc...

And of course epic waterbombs!!
Edited to add: I do apologise! I had my hair cut yesterday and I'm sure they shaved a few years of my mental age at the same time. Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Mrs LW,
I seem to recall my Nan saying the old style method involved the word NO and a slap!
Do condoms keep or are they likely to perish?
I don't even know why I'm asking... I'm so over the hill it's dark here!0 -

I used to work in a pharmacy and they actually have a use by date on them, sometimes 5 years or so, so technically yes, they'll keep although if a firm NO and a slap works, they'll keep for longer won't they? Cheers Lyn xxx.
METHERER life's much too short to not giggle, don't change, we like you with the humour, thanks, Lyn x.0
