No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.
Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

On the subject of prepping, today DH and I have taken the first step in Archery and will enrol in a course in October.

we have a local archery club but for what i assume is legal/insurance reasons they can only allow kids to join when they are 11.5 years old so once my daughter reaches that age we're both enrolling. we saw them at the childrens faire this summer and they're a right bunch of nutters, sounds like my type of people

mind you i think they didn't know what to make of me making jokes about the zombie apocalypse and hunting so i'll keep that to myself when we do join :rotfl:

reasonably priced does several jobs and shouldn't be so hard on my weak wrists as a regular bow. i will not however purchase one until both my daughter and i know how to use a traditional bow, i don't believe it's safe to have anything like that in the house if the people that live there don't know how to use one safely.

A few of the people there who go regularly, as well as the to instructors, look a bit like they could believe in the ZA! So I shall keep my ideas to myself but will keep my eyes and ears open, never know, might pick up some interesting info/tips.

Am here primarily to say goodbye for now, very busy preparing for my trip and leaving home and family in a good state, so won't be posting for a while. Happy Prepping and see you all back on my return end Sept x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).
