Is it possible to keep an account in the UK while living abroad?

I'll be moving abroad at the end of this year, but would like to keep a cuurent and savings account in the UK (I'll sell my house as well).
Is this possible? Of course, I won't have an address here, but I could always ask a friend for his. This would be only temporary, but not sure for how long.
Any ideas?

My bank will send statements etc. to an address abroad (I'm going next month to live abroad), but be careful about savings accounts or opening new savings accounts as a lot of them require you to be a UK resident. Might be as well to use your friends address as well. Where are you moving to, just out of interest?0

Talk to your bank.If you have a significant savings account, they may advise you to move it offshore -they usually have branches in the Channel Islands for this situation.0
