Ryanair baggage

Heading to Athens later in the week with Ryanair, its a launch point for a summer of travel and so have 2 backpacks which fall under 20kg total.
I had intended to stick both backpacks into a holdall and pay for one checked bag up to 20kg.
A quick read of the T's and C's and it says no pooled luggage. I am travelling alone with 2 kids and so logically the pooled rule shouldn't apply. However, it is two bags in one bag and so 2 bags are chargeable each??
Has anyone any experience of this? I usually travel light with Ryanair but needs must I'm afraid.

pooled baggage relates to not being able to double a single bags allowance despite paying for two bags i.e 2 people travelling with 20kg allowance each cant have one bag weighing 40kgs, however they can have 2 or 1 bag at a max of 20kgs if you see what I meanLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

As long as your two bags fit easily inside your holdall/case, and dont go over the allowable weight allowance you should have no problem, We have put a smaller bag inside our bigger holdall/case plenty of times and never had a problem with any airline.0

Why the hell would i stitch you up?
I may not agree with half the poop you post and your attitude towards my employers/colleagues may be seriously misguided but i really wouldnt stoop to your level.
Believe me or not im not fussed but suffice to say if i wanted to "stitch you up", which i dont, id be a tad more creative.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

Can a child be expected to carry their own luggage separate from their parents as their individual allowance?
Doubt it.0
