Nearly all use the threats to try and part you from your money, nearly all realise that court action is unlikely to do them much good as they will more then likely lose, and if they win they don't get back what it costs in time and effort.

The very few who do try it on normally believe they have an extra twist. Luckily the vast majority just move on to the next victim.
