Chester For Breakfast....

Anyone know where I can get a "cheap" Full English Breakfast in Chester?

Premier Inn want £8.25 - I'm pretty sure there are places in Chester that charge a lot less.

I dont understand why Travelodge do this.

My husband could eat a big breakfast and would probably get the value but I would be quite happy with a bacon or egg sandwich and I'm damned if I am going to pay £8.25 for a butty.

They would probably get a lot more trade in their cafes if the sold thing seperately.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

I know - We are the same - My wife & I will not get full value.
We are staying with Premier Inn for two nights - So it would be best part of £35 just to have breakfast!!!

Currently looking at BHS in chester centre (£1.99 for Full English)
    or maybe wetherspoons.

Weatherspoons are alwasy good value, but BHS sounds brilliant value for money, does it sound too cheap though.

See if youcan see someone else's first lol

You have to buy a hot drink at BHS to get the breakfast deal.
    Cooked breakfast contains five items.

Looks like good value to me.

Brook street cafe. Walking distance city centre in the direction of the railway station , small breakfast which is sausage, bacon , egg , beans toast and choice of two other items (mushroom ,tomatoes , hash brown)plus hot drink is £3.40 ish.

Brook street is also good for Indian food.

I think that you get an all you can eat breakfast £8.25 so you could always stuff yourself so full of food you don't need to eat again all day and save yourselves a few quid on lunch ;).

We went to our local place earlier this year because my mum had given us a buy one get one free voucher (no idea where she got it) and as kids eat free we got slap up breakfasts for the whole family for £2 each (they've obviously upped the price by 26p as it was £7.99 when we went).

To be fair it was pretty good. There was the full range of cooked items, croissants, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, etc, etc as well as unlimited use of the tea and coffee machines. We all enjoyed ourselves and we did say we'd go again, especially if we get hold of another BOGOF voucher.
The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
And I look like a tramp and tramps like us

Chester is a great place for a short break, there's plenty to do and because it's a fairly small city most of the attractions are within walking distance of each other. There are also plenty of nice bars and restaurants to celebrate a birthday in :D.

There have been a few threads about Chester before, this is the last one and might give you a few ideas -https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4033573
