charged because dmp payed bills to late

Hi I was charged by various companies for late fees etc bcuz the DMP company were collecting the payment from my bank on 25th of one month and not paying it until 24th of the next - this resulted in me getting nowhere to get my bills down.
The only solution i had to get out of the ongoing mess was to cancel my DMP and continue paying the same amount direct myself - and guess what - im now under my credit limit after paying charges for 2 years
