Hotmail doesn't block linkedin

Any of you clever guys able to tell me why, despite adding @linkedin.com to the blocked senders list of my Hotmail account, I still have emails from them turning up regularly in my inbox..??

It might be because the emails they send are from @bounce.linkedin.com on behalf of @linkedin.com, so see if adding bounce makes a difference

I'll try although I doubt it - when pressing the 'reply' link, up came simply @linkedin.com

Are 'linkedin' in any way attached commercially to Hotmail, such that the latter ALWAYS allows the former's mails to arrive in accounts?

I think the previous poster is right the sender is .......@bounce..... the reply to is set to whoever.at.linkedin.com

Edited: although sometimes the first invitation says from realperson.at.their.email
