Balances under £20,000 2.60% (inc. 1.90% fixed bonus for 12 months)
Balances of £20,000 or more 3.07% (inc 2.57% fixed bonus for 12 months)
Ts&Cs unclear.
"After 12 months the variable rate without bonus will apply, currently 0.50%". But the variable rate currently seems to be 0.70% for balances under £20,000!

Yes embarrassing incompetence. You wonder how this error wasn't spotted. I can only guess the bonus is supposed to be 2.1% and not 1.9% for tier 1.
Certainly C- and not AA for their arithmetic.I came, I saw, I melted0 -
It doesn't give much confidence that they will calculate the interest they actually pay you correctly, does it?0

Hello, You are correct that the bonus is 2.1% gross AER for balances up to £19,999 on the AA Internet Extra (Issue 7). The incorrect information was on the web pages only and the correct interest will be calculated on all accounts. This was corrected on the website as soon as we realised the mistake.
