It is a cleaning kit, why would it include a stylus? It is just one of the things you can clean with the kit.
No more misleading than a car cleaning kit with a picture of a car on it (car not included).0 -

If you actually read the post, they say "it clearly shows a picture of a stylus", that's why.
Since when is a stylus a piece of cleaning equipment? I would not expect a pack of dusters to contain a sideboard, though they are likely to be pictured with one.
Neither would i expect a t-shirt to come with a smiling child, a food processor to come with a selection of fresh vegetables, or a hair dryer to come with a disembodied hand.
Though the staff members comment about not expecting an ipod may be seen as rude, i can see their point.0 -

All ridiculous comparisons, I feel.
Read the OP and they also say "Oddly, online, at one point a stylus didcome with the pack but in about the end of December 2011, they stopped andpeople did complain on the reviews. The cat number is 524/4342"
So the pack DID come with a stylus at some point and they obviously changed it but didn't change the picture.0 -
People value their time very little indeed, looking at how much time the OP has wasted chasing a stylus.0

I just searched for that number and the picture doesn't show a stylus nor does it have a stylus listed as an item included. Also it it sold as a starter pack and not a cleaning kit. It looks like at some time they did have the incorrect picture after changing the pack contents but nobody has questioned it or made a comment since February so it looks like the error was rectified some time ago.
OP you noticed the mistake in store and they offered to rectify the problem by refunding you, you chose to decline in the hopes of getting the stylus free and it has backfired. You now have the choice to save on the petrol costs and just use the items you did get or spend the extra money to get to the store for your refund.
Usually I would say you should claim back travel costs as it's their mistake but as it was your choice to not have it dealt with at the time you wouldn't be entitled to it.0 -

As Fosterdog pointed out, I made a mistake, its called the starter pack, not cleaning, so on seeing a picture of a stylus, you would not assume it wasnt there.
I have said, i should have taken the refund, and would have in hindsight. I thought, as it was their error, They would send a stylus out, as after all thats what i paid for. I didnt think it would be such as big deal- instead im treated as being unreasonable(think what you will of that) for wanting what i paid for after viewing a picture.
Heres the pic i have so you can see what i mean (sorry, i dont know how to resize) :0 -
I'm losing the will to live here. Why don't you just sue them for the £2.49 they already offered to refund to you, and stop boring us with this?Je suis Charlie.0

To be fair looking at the advert with no description at all and just a picture to go off I can see why they didn't take the refund straight away and chanced customer services. I would be a little annoyed. However the chance didn't pay off.0
