Back to Back Daily mail \ Sun Holidays

We booked a 3 day break through the daily mail holidays offer in January to Haven Rockley Park,
Having just got back from a really enjoyable first haven family holiday (seashore - Great Yarmouth), and are now thinking 3 days will not be enough to we are thinking of booking the 4 days before the days we already have to make it up to a week.
Does anyone have any experience of doing this - are they normally happy for you to stay in the same caravan the entire week, or would they want you to move?
I would guess they would also want twice the price if they offered us an upgrade. the week we have just had in seashore was only £30 to upgrade the full week (but holiday was booked through Havens website)
Will probably wait for the Daily Mail offer rather than the sun one as we don't have any priority codes and the Daily mail one just seamed simpler.

Hi
Glad you had a great time at Seashore ( personally my favourite Haven site!!)
We would go more often if we were nearer, but we're 5 hours away ( went end of May, & it took 9 hours to get back!!:eek:mainly due to jubilee weekend traffic! Not fun, especially with a 2yr old & a 4 yr old who were already grumpy at having to leave Bradley & Rory!!)
All I can say is:
The cost to extend your break will depend when you are going.
Haven have always seemed very accomodating with things like extentions & staying in the same accomodation, or special requests, ( in my experience anyway)
We have actually booked a 3 night & 4 night Sun hol ( later in the year) to run consecutively.
When I phoned to pay the balance the lady said she would link the two bookings so that we can stay in the same caravan :j
Sorry for the ramble ( I do tend to go on a bit!!:o)
Hope this info is of some use to you.
Happy Holidays!!!!:):):):):)0 -
hi
I have done this many times before ie booked one sun or breakfree holiday and then topped up with another sun or breakfree holiday to make 7 nights. Just phone Haven up and tell them the 2 booking numbers and they will tie the bookings together. We take our own linen otherwise i guess you would have to pay twice for linen.
BUT if you do want to use the swimming pool and other facilities for the whole week then you do need to pay for 2 lots of ents passes as the colour of the passes changes on changeover day..
Sometimes we only book passes for one of the breaks if we think we will spend part of the week of site exploring the area... at other times ie if we are going out of summer time - we book 2 sets of passes so the kids can go swimming every day no mater what the weather is doing...
We went to Haven Primrose Valley for 7 nights in Easter School holidays with 2 break free / sun holidays - fantastic bargain break at approx £200 for 7 nights in school holidays..
The next Daily Mail / Break Free promotion starts on 14th july....

we have done it loads of times, and have just booked to do it again for Oct half term, Haven normally make us pay for both lots of entertainment passes, but if you cancel linen of the 2nd part of the break they are happy for you to pay for one lot providing you don't mind sleeping on the same bedsheets for a week. just make sure you pay for it for the first part of your break so it is ready when you get there. i just rang the haven park direct to extend my holiday on monday from 4 nights to a week and it was an extra £106.50 which is around what it would have have cost in the sun once service charges and passes were added on again so maybe it may be worth you also ringing up the park direct to see how much an extension would be direct with them before going down the sun/ dailymail route x0

how does the daily mail offer work, is it like the sun where you collect the codes and have a reference number?0
-
No - if it's like it was earlier in the year, you just need the codes and then can book from the breakfree website.0

Morning everyone,
What are the chances of any of you lovely folks out there posting the passwords from the mail? :beer:0
