Second e-bay Account

For many years I have bought and sold on one account. Now that I am a registered business user, I would like to set up a second e-bay account for private buying.

I have looked through e-bay help pages, but lost the will to live and came here instead.

Could someone please give me a simple step by step guide to doing this (assuming it is allowed).

I would link the new account to my existing Paypal account.

Where it says 'Not you? Sign In or Register', click Register and follow onscreen instructions.

You will need another email address, which then needs to be added to your Paypal account; you can have up to eight registered with one PP account, although strictly speaking you can have any number of eBay accounts you like, or that they are happy to permit you (have seen people told off for opening too many, but only once before).

    I won't say "Simples", but I want too :).

Many many thanks for this. I set up a new account and waited for the e-mail e-bay said they would send. When it didn't arrive instantly, I tried logging on with my new details, and they worked.

A cyber drink on the way to you:beer:

  • I did the same as you, and then I found it easier to have a 2nd Paypal account so that I could keep my private and business sales totally separate - helps when I do my accounts...
