Hi-My wife and I are thinking of going to Dresden for a couple of days as part of our holiday in central Europe.
Can anyone advise of must see see and do things to do when we are there? Also can anyone recoomend a good hotel at a reasonable price.
Thanks

The Zwinger and Grünes Gewölbe (Green Vault) are the places most people visit. You can do a river trip on the Elbe. If you are interested in arts and crafts/garden cities take the tram to Hellerau. There's a cog railway up a nearby hill. Dresden is also noted for classical music.0

Have previously stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Not 5*, but clean, modern and centrally located. Right on the edge of the pedestrian precinct with lots of shops and restaurants. Price around EUR 70.-- per room per night incl. breakfast. May obviously vary.0

Try the ETAP was about €40 last year and very central. Pleasant big room with free wifi.0
