Hi all,
My parents noticed that they have been paying overdraft protection? This has been going on for years now and contacted natwest which said it was aviva that they were paying?
I have contacted my bank and requested this to be stopped and claim this money back, because its natwest who must have dealt wiv aviva for this insurance??
Just wondering if anyone heard of this protection and what are the odds on claiming this back??
Cheers:o

Unless your parents have given you power of attorney, then the bank will not usually accept any instructions on your parents bank account.
Your parents should contact the bank directly and cancel any PPI if they no longer wish to have such cover.
Your parents would also need to make a claim for mis-selling of PPI if they so wish. The MSE article on reclaiming PPI explains further how to do this0 -
