Hello fellow MSEs,
I am in the market for at 650cc motorcycle. Based on the info that I've gleaned from MSE, I understand that I should use the comparison sites, plus the ones that are listed on the comparison sites, plus the following:
1. ebikeinsurance
2. motorcycledirect
3. carolenash
4. directchoice
5. quotelinedirect
6. insurance2000
7. https://www.hrinsurance.co.uk
8. https://www.devittinsurance.com/
9. https://www.aquotebike.com/
Am I missing anything? Any advise anyone can give me specifically? This is my first ever motorbike that im insuring by myself; I'm 26 and don't have any NCB as I haven't ridden for over a year!
Any tricks or things that I need to look out for in my insurance cover?
Someone said puncture cover as well! Opinions please?
Thanks!:p

1. Why do some sites ask if I've passed my CBT?
2. What does that have to do with anything?
3. Does saying 'no' increase my premium?
4. Do people usually have their paperwork for a CBT after they have a full motorcycle license?Living off £450 per month is easy...! If you aren't single! :j0 -
BUMP!??
Any ideas anyone?

If you don't have it won't that be an issue?
As it's an important qualification I would have thought most people would keep it although your training school probably have a record.Do people usually have their paperwork for a CBT after they have a full motorcycle license?
You probably won't need to provide proof to get a policy, but may need to prove it if you had a claim.
I can also recommend Carole Nash.Any advise anyone can give me specifically?
If there is a FREE bikesafe running in your area then sign up for that (also can give you a discount on your insurance).
If it's not free in your area then you might be able to travel to a neighbouring area. It's currently free in Wiltshire and people travel for the day to do it here, the police or council don't mind.0 -

Thanks, I did look at them but they were asking for £828 for me. I got the same deal with Bike Sure finally. £436 for fully comp, pillion, exhaust modification cosmetic, helmets and gear cover.
No cash back but I guess I can live with that.
Thank you!

I have been riding for 4 years abroad and when I came to the UK three years ago, I Converted my motorcycle license. I didn't have to do the CBT. Which is why I don't have it. Which is why I was asking.
Why do they want a CBT when it doesn't apply to everyone?
Thanks for the info on BikeSafe. I had been looking it up already but didn't know that it was free, only subsidized.
Anything else?!?!?
Thanks awarded! :A:T:DLiving off £450 per month is easy...! If you aren't single! :j0 -
