Do you have high blood pressure if it is controlled by drugs and is now normal?

Do you have high cholesterol if it is at a normal level, again after taking drugs every day?

Do you have an underactive thyroid if again your thyroid levels are normal because you take drugs?

There will be an existing medications question on the applications anyway - but in answer to your question you should declare that you have high blood pressure now at normal levels controlled by whatever drug you take. Same for the others.

Failing to advise is non-disclosure of a material fact which could affect any claims that you might make on the policy.

Hi,

DO NOT USE Debenhams Travel Insurance. They use Travel Claims Services who are useless. Their post room lost claim papers, never e-mail or ring you - always the snail mail post. Everything is in 5/6 working days from when you ring them. They are 0844 numbers - always take ages to answer - get put on hold - then they are 'only' call centre operatives - with NO surnames!!
