In your will you could write the words

    'any issue of mine'

    that covers all children

...and grandchildren, so be careful here.

If you want to include children only, then the appropriate words would be something along the lines of `those of my children that survive me and attain x years`.

Incidentally, I would not recommend using an online will writing service.

Just thinking of making a will and wondered if you can get a straightforward template form to fill in from say WH Smiths, as I believe that is what my parents did and that was adequate at the time.

we are looking at making wills now we are married, well I already have one but it needs changed now I'm married, my DH doesn't have one yet. I came across https://www.finalfling.com the other evening, it has lots of useful info about wills, and other related things. I now want a VW campervan at my funeral, I had one as my wedding car a few weeks ago!.

Be wary of this site if they suggest this>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You can attach  your Wishes to your Will so that you don't need to keep updating your Will just to take account of a new piece of music you fancy for your send-off.

You DO NOT attach anything to a Will because it could end up making it invalid. Place any letter of wishes with the will by all means but do not attach anything.

We made mirror wills last year under the Willaid scheme. This comes around November each year. We are not married so there's no automatic inheritance if we died intestate.

Ours covers any future grandchildren as well as what our wishes would be if we survived our children (grisly thought but it happens).

It was very straightforward. There was a form on the website which you could complete beforehand to help you think about your wishes, then 2 appointments with the solicitor, the second for signing, witnessing etc.

Payment is a charity donation - a minimum is recommended and I think we paid £150 which was a bit over the recommended amount.
