Cancelling Holidays

Am I the only person in the world who doesn't book a holiday and then
straight away want to cancel it and get a refund? because;

I'm now pregnant and it's the airlines fault.
I forgot I'm working that week and it's the travel agents fault.
I didn't check my diary and I have to buy a new diary that week.
The sales are on and I can't miss them so it's my spouse's fault.
I have not got a passport so it's David CamMorons fault.
I forgot. I have no money so it's the Dole office's fault.
It was 'Miss sold' cos I bought it off an unmarried young lady.

PS. no insurance because couldn't be a*sed.

  • I have been known to cancel holidays at times (might have to cancel Vegas next month :( ), but that's why everything I book is refundable. ;)

    And you've also missed "need to cancel so can I buy travel insurance now and get them to pay for it"

    Think you must be, because nobody ever posts saying "I booked a holiday and didn't want to cancel it straight away", or "I booked a holiday and had to cancel, but the insurance paid out" ;)

    ...and you missed the bit about booking on the internet yourself but not being able to spell your own name, then complaining about the airlines fee for correcting the spelling mistake.

    Never cancelled a holiday in my life, but always buy insurance if I've paid more than I'm prepared to lose (not bothered if it's just a couple of budget flights or a cross-channel fairy).

    What about "I checked the prices after I booked and the price had gone down, so can I get a refund?" ?
    Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

    I also forgot 'my 113 year old grandma unexpectedly died before my flight booked for next April can I cancel?'
