Business Fuel Account?

I work for a small council and our local independent garage will no longer be selling petrol in a few months time.

We have always had a monthly fuel account with them and I'm now faced with finding an alternative supplier for our small fleet of 4 vehicles.

We'll now be at the mercy of the big boys and are not in a position to let our employees loose with a credit card each.

I've been looking at fuel cards such as Key Fuel Card but know nothing about them.

Any advice would be appreciated regarding which card is best, hidden T & C's to look out for etc.

Which card is best will depend on your requirements.

My old firm used to pre purchase the fuel in bulk. Then when your employees goto the fuel stations they dont pay the pump price.

But with 20+ trucks each using 100 litres+ a day. They used to spend a fair bit.

They would swap and change keyfuels, BP etc etc.. Depends whats local to you. Sometimes drivers had to travel off their routes to fill up.

Try explaining that to the bean counters.
