upside down ticket

Hi can anyone advise. My son parks in an excel car park every day and pays £3. on this day he placed his ticket onthe dashboard as usual but on his return to his vehicle for some reason the ticket was faced down. He has received a parking fine of £60 or £100 if not paid in x days. One hour after the ticket was issued we emailed an appeal and sent a photo of the valid ticket along with the previous 3 days tickets. We also mentioned that he said he wasn' t aware that the ticket was facing down. They have rejected his appeal on the grounds of "none display of a valid ticket". Can anyone tell us where we go from here?

Absolutely nowhere. From now on ignore all correspondence, keep all relevant tickets and file all in a safe place at the bottom of the wardrobe.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

It's just a scam, ignore it as long as your vehicle is not a company/ hire or leased car. Your attempt at an appeal was pointless and a complete waste of time. This is not some sort of authority, it's not even a real parking ticket. THey are easy to ignore; it's only some junk mail!

The same place you usualy doCan anyone tell us where we go from here?
what you have is an unenforcable invoice, as your son paid for his parking, he owes them nothing, and should continue to park as before.
