Rover 414 wont start

Hi, I've replaced the spark plugs, ignition leads, distributor cap and the rotary arm and still the car wont start. Any ideas where to look next??? thanks

    Get yourself on the MG-R forums. 9/10 problems I've experienced on my rover someone has had before and fixed on there.

    Are you just randomly blowing money on replacing bits or do you have any diagnostic skills?

    You need to go back to basics. First of all, do you have a spark? Do you have fuel getting through to the cylinders?

    If the answer to these two is yes, then you move on to checking that the spark is at the right time, that the mixture is correct.
