Which tyres for reduced road noise?
After some opinions on which brand(s) is likely to give me less road noise.
My Mk3 Mondeo is notorious for road noise when budget brands are used and mixed.
(All the bearings and hubs have been checked and are fine which I'd normally assume is giving the whiney noise over 50mph so putting it down to tyre choice)
Can anyone offer any advice or suggestions?

According to German ADAC and Auto Bild the quietest premium/mid-range tyres are Pirelli P7 Cinturato and Yokohama C.drive 2."Retail is for suckers"

Expensive...Nokian Z or ZG2.
Budget...Federal Formoza FD2....better than you might expect.0 -
