I sincerely hope their isn't. This arrogance of English people never fails to deeply irritate me.

Perhaps it was meant as a compliment on the German educational system?

yes guys, the TV id like is a VT50 not VT30.

Now the way I see it, I have a few options:

    1. Call/Email the company in Italy or Germany and see if they will ship to UK

    2. Buy in Italy and Germany and have a courier company collect and deliver it to me

Is there any other options that I am missing? What would be best?

Maybe, If I contact a German or Italian buddy of mine, they could make the purchase and then I can arrange delivery thereafter.

Im not quite sure how much thatd cost though - arranging my own courier....

Just a thought - is it worth emailing them to find out if they have an English speaker you can speak to to order it?

Although there's no mention of import duty, I'd double-check.
I would imagine HMRC would like a wad of cash for importing such an expensive item.

I know my geography's not fantastic but it's not that bad ;)
I'd still check just cover my backside (but then I'm slightly paranoid when it comes to things like this).
