Amazon Postage

Yay! I sold my first item (a DVD set for £20 so I have now covered most of my expenses in buying packaging for all my selling).
Sent it out this afternoon first class about an hour after it was purchased.
Just checking, really, as I've got fed up already with Amazon's help pages. Do I have to send items out first class, or can I opt to send out second class and pocket the difference?
I haven't put anywhere that I send by a particular service; unlike on eBay there didn't seem to be an option to do so. I know you have to dispatch in two days, but not whether you have to post by a specific rate.

You can send any method you like I always have sent 2nd class with no problems.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

I use 2nd class for standard post and Special Delivery for express. I find on Amazon buyers don't really care about the postal method as long as it's dispatched quickly.0

I think Amazon's standard parcel service is 2nd class so it's ok for you to use it too

I'm sure you already have, but make sure you mark it as dispatched on Amazon otherwise they don't release your payment till you do!

Great stuff, thank you.
Oh yes, marked it as dispatched. Quite happy for that to happen too, I must admit Amazon gives me confidence as a buyer of third-party items because of that.
Listed a whole lot more stuff
