Did I have PPI

In 2007 my husband and I took out a loan with Nemo Finance for £46000 and said we did not want PPI. We paid it off earlier this year by remortgaging the house. My Loan Agreement says I did not take out PPI so I didn't think I could claim but I keep being told by various cold callers and a letter in the post today that I may not be aware that I had PPI but however they have "been informed that there was PPI included" and I could be entitled to a £13000 refund. I have heard that PPI costs could have been hidden in the monthly repayments??
Is this true? Is it worth me trying to claim or are they just trying to blag me? If I can claim the claim form on this website doesn't really fit my situation so how would I claim?
Thanks in advance for any advice

if you forms say you didn't take PPI out and this is a loan which wouldn't have been added later then i would ignore the companies. they are just bring to blah you.
If it were a credit card this type of PPI can be added at a later date so may not appear on your original agreements.0 -
Thanks. That's what I thought but just needed it confirming.0

£13000 is on one of those figures that keeps popping up from scam claims companies. Its made up and designed to appeal to your greed.
PPI cannot be hidden. You are just being mis-sold to by the claims company.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
