Recycling mobiles-quote prices.

Hello all!
I've been looking at recycling an old mobile. (due to Martins money makeover)
I have a Sony Ericsson C905 I'm not sure what to class it as because it's not strictly broken but it's not really in full working order either. It does turn on but it will sometimes freeze and some of the buttons now don't seem to work!
Is it best to take a not working price rather than send to a company that decide what to price it when they receive it and not be left with any real choice?
Just a quick post as I'm only going to be making about £5 on it anyway!
