Replacing old felt roof

Hi, after a bit of advice please. I need to replace the felt on my extension flat roof and will do it with edpm which I have used very successfully on my pre-fab garage. My question is:

Once I have removed all the stones and old felt, what wood sheeting should I put on top of the old roof decking? On my garage I used osb3 18mm, however on my extension the roof decking is ok so, could I just use 11mm to save on cost as it wont need to be structural?

Thanks Darren

Yes, if the deck is OK then you can use 9 or 11mm, or just lay on the existing deck

Just make sure to lap the new boards with the old so the joints are not in line
