I pulled out of my work lottery, unethically and worryingly run! Lots of people 3 months behind with payments, a syndicate agreement I asked for a copy off several times never forthcoming, manager said she would forge signatures if the big win happened, pensioner mother trusted with putting lottery on when organiser on holiday and members never told what weekly raffle number was!! Some didn't even know usual numbers, I only knew as I insisted on a copy!! 'Mates' could pay when they wanted, organiser mate put in all the time! Absolutely not worth being part of!!
The one at our place is weird. It's a bit of a free for all so people can put whatever they like in and they get a percentage share based on how much they staked. It's just annoying when one person can afford to spend £20 a week and I can only afford £2, although the split is fair.
I was thinking of starting a fair-play syndicate where you can only pay for one line.
