Hi, looking to book somewhere in the uk for me, my pregnant partner and our 18 month old boy. Really looking for somewhere that will keep the young one entertained. So far, I've seen sands resort in Newquay and Hilton coylumbridge in aviemore. As you can see, travel isn't too much of an issue. Anyone recommend anything similar?

What time of year are you going
Would a beach setting be best for the youngster
How about a farm stay for the fun of feeding animals, collecting eggs etc
Does your wife want luxury
Indoor pools, spa
Evening entertainment if so to what extent eg full on Butlins style or adult stlye with baby minding service0 -

Looking at mid September, open to all ideas. A pool and spa would be perfect but not a necessity. Main thing is enough going on and attractions to keep the wee man happy!0 -

It is a lovely site, SC lodges, caravans or Hotel. A sports area, park, night life (if wanted) Starbucks coffee, pizza etc etc Lytham St annes on Doorstep (Lovely Beach area) Blackpool - take of leave as much as you want such as Zoo, Tower etc Illuminations. Lake district not too far. Train station from local town Kirkham to Manchester or Liverpool
Not sure on price - but it is lovely. I always say it's such a shame it is only 3 miles away as I would like to go there on Holiday
Happy searching :-)April Grocery challenge £0/£160 (17th April-30th Apr)

Thanks Sheila. Just returned from a short break in Blackpool and wouldn't rule out returning to the area in September. Had planned to come see the illuminations so could kill two birds with one stone so to speak.0
